Young Nordic Film Link
You are a young filmmaker from Norway, Denmark or Northern-Germany? Then Young Nordic Film Link is your chance to experience something special this fall! The Nordic Film Days in Lübeck (30.10. – 2.11.2014) are the biggest festival of Nordic film outside of Scandinavia. It is one of Germanys oldest festivals and an excellent place to see all new movies from the Baltic Sea Region and meet people from the Nordic film industry. We offer 6 young filmmakers the chance to live through 4 days of festival madness!
You are:
- Up to 27 years of age.
- Director, producer, writer or DoP of at least one (short) film production.
- Interested in meeting other young filmmakers from the Nordic countries.
- On your way into professional film business but not quite there yet.
- Living in the region of one of the organizing institutions.
We offer you:
- Free travel and accommodation.
- Free festival accreditation giving you access to all screenings.
- The chance to participate in a master class by a professional filmmaker.
- Invitations to receptions and parties during the festival.
- A nice dinner to welcome you and set you up as a group.
- An afternoon session just for you with young producers from the North.
Sounds too good to be true? Well, let’s see. If you want to apply, email us a short statement why we should take you on board, together with a brief CV and a web link to a film production you have been working on.
