ION International Short Film and Animation Festival
This year marks the launch of the ION International Short Film and Animation Festival to be held in Los Angeles, California in October 2004.
Our Mission is to expose and inspire local audiences with new films and animation by new filmmakers from around the world. Our festival will include a dynamic line-up of film screenings, in-depth panel discussions, and gala ceremonies.
ION invites rising independent international filmmakers to participate in our festival which draws a high profile audience including film industry insiders, press and celebrities. Our film and animation programs are supported by a wide range of influential members of the local film and animation community, ranging from producers and directors to animation studios and acquisition executives.
We are particularly excited about showcasing international animation. We at ION are working hard to put together an exciting program, which includes works from Germany. Our goal is to make ION the largest animation festival in United States and an important stop to introducing international talent to the film and animation industry in the United States.
