16. Foyle Film Festival – Call for Entry

Now in its 16th Year – Foyle Film Festival is one of the main social events in Northern Ireland and has become firmly established as one of Ireland’s leading and biggest International Film Festivals.

During the ten day festival, which runs from 21st November to 30th November, it will screen over 200 films, host special events, special effects presentations, festival competition, run a variety of workshops and seminars, attendance of Special Guests and much more! This year promises to be yet another exciting one.

The deadline date for entry submission is 1st September 2003. Early Bird Entry by 21st July are free of charge. Thereafter fees of £5.00 will be charged if your print arrives by the 18th August and £10.00 if it arrives by 1st September, we have included an extended deadline of 8th September, where a fee of £20 will be charged. No entries will be accepted after this extended deadline.

Competition categories include:

  • Best Irish Short
  • Best International Short
  • Best Animation
  • Best Feature
  • Best Documentary (We accept Beta SP and Digibeta, as well as 35mm or 16mm for this category)

Films in the festival competition must be in screening format of 35mm or 16mm. (Exception for formats in Documentary Category, where we accept Beat SP and Digibeta.) The duration must be between 5mins and 40mins
